The function of research and evaluation in the FGC is to monitor and track fidelity to the TICM, ensure we have mechanisms and processes to monitor and track outputs and outcomes and coordinate an inclusive, participatory Indigenized evaluation process that keeps Native community voice and culture at the center.

Projects Include:

• Decolonized Evaluative Practices  – using storytelling as a valid form of keeping track of progress and efficacy 
• Integrates Modes of the FGC to support each-others projects moving toward a common goal and keeping track of benchmarks 
• Evaluates the modes and provides opportunities to engage with community members and partners in this process 
• Coordinating with system partners to develop more equitable practices for data collection, analysis, and dissemination of community information
