Film Release: Bring Them Home

Local community member, Lukas Angus, will provide a buffalo hide tanning demonstration- come and try it out! Esteemed Blackfeet artist John Isaiah Pepion will provide real ledger paper and teach you how to draw Blackfoot Buffalo for you to take home! This will be followed by a bowl of buffalo stew and finally the showing of Bring Them Home- a documentary film by Blackfeet producers Ivy and Ivan MacDonald and ally Daniel Glick. The film tells the story of the return of buffalo after they nearly went extinct 150 years ago. After the film, Blackfeet elder Theda NewBreast will share her thoughts and experiences of this Lily Gladstone narrated film!
